Emma Muir has over 20 years of work experience, starting their career in 2000 as a Developer/Analyst at Datacom. Emma progressed to a Project Manager role in 2006 and successfully delivered a custom-built application. In 2008, they left Datacom to focus on their web development company, EM Development, which they had started part-time in 2005. As the owner and operator of EM Development, Emma worked on various freelancing roles and created websites from scratch. In 2010, they rejoined Datacom as a Project Manager, leading a team to deliver an application. Emma then joined News Corp Australia in 2011 as a Project Manager/Scrum Master, working on the subscription service for news websites. Emma later joined Vodafone Australia as a Senior Project Manager, where they managed Salesforce projects and oversaw vendor management and outsourced development. In 2015, Emma joined nbn™ Australia as an Iteration Manager, leading a cross-functional team in Salesforce projects. Emma introduced Salesforce to new business units and successfully replaced Oracle CRM on Demand. In 2018, Emma became the Head of Project Delivery at XAM Consulting. Emma'scurrent role is the Head of Delivery - Private Sector at ProQuest Consulting, where they oversee project delivery and serves as a Senior Agile Project Manager.

Emma Muir graduated from The University of Auckland in the year 2000 with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Marketing & Information Systems. In 2018, they obtained certifications as a Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner and a Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc.
