Laura Laumer has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Marketing Manager at ProPulse®—a Schieffer Company since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Owner and Graphic Designer at Nathalie Design & Décor since 2006. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as an Executive Assistant at RPS 205. Laura also has experience as a Communications and Customer Service Consultant at Quest7, Inc. from 2019 to 2020. Laura served as a Creative Director at Behr Iron & Metal from 2012 to 2016 and at Adams Letter Services/Magnum Creative from 2007 to 2012. Laura's early career included being a Prepress Specialist at H.C. Johnson Press from 2002 to 2006.

Laura Laumer attended Illinois Wesleyan University from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design.
