Tahar Hitana has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of analog/mixed signal IC design engineering. Tahar is currently employed at PROPHESEE as a Staff Analog/Mixed signal IC design engineer since March 2021. Prior to this position, they worked at the same company as a Senior Analog/Mixed signal IC design engineer from March 2017 to February 2021.

Before joining PROPHESEE, Tahar worked as a Senior Analog/RFIC design engineer at Huawei Technologies Research & Development from August 2015 to February 2017. Tahar also served as a Project manager & Analog/mixed signal IC design engineer at X-FAB from September 2010 to July 2015.

Earlier in their career, Tahar held positions as an Analog/mixed signal IC design engineer at M2000/AboundLogic from February 2009 to July 2010, and at Wipro - NewLogic from February 2007 to January 2009.

Tahar's work experience also includes a research engineer trainee role at Philips semiconductor, where they conducted research leading to the development of new theorems and designs for dc/dc voltage conversion circuits. Tahar was also a research trainee at KTH | Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, where they independently conducted research on transient fault detection equations/algorithms for digital FIR filters, resulting in the publication of their work at a renowned conference.

Tahar Hitana's education history includes a Master's Degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which was obtained from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, Tahar earned another Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from INSA Strasbourg. Before pursuing higher education, Tahar completed a Scientific French baccalaureate (A-level equivalent) with honors at Lycée Pierre brossolette.
