Melania Lijadi

Principal Quality & Reliability Engineer at Prophesee

Melania Lijadi has extensive work experience in the field of electrical characterization and quality assurance. Melania started their career in 1997 as a Process Engineer at NGK Insulators, where they focused on optimizing heating processes for ceramics-based materials.

In 2006, Melania joined SOITEC and served as a Device Characterization Engineer and Customer Technical Support, responsible for monitoring the quality of GaAs epitaxial wafers throughout customer foundry PCM data. Melania also led the Device Lab Group, collaborating with technicians to provide electrical data feedback for material improvement and new product qualification.

Following this, Melania worked at Altis Semiconductor from 2014 to 2016 as an Electrical Characterization Engineer. Their role involved conducting characterizations and monitoring the electrical performance of semiconductor devices.

Melania then joined X-FAB in 2016 as an Electrical Characterization Engineer, where they focused on monitoring the Front End and Back End process yield using Process Control Monitoring (PCM) electrical data. Melania identified deviations, established action plans, and documented improvements to prevent yield degradation.

Currently, Melania holds a position at PROPHESEE since 2018. Melania started as a Senior IC Characterization Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Principal Quality & Reliability Engineer. Melania has been responsible for characterizing event-based image sensor ICs and ensuring their reliability qualification. Melania developed test benches, created data analysis platforms, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to achieve characterization and qualification goals.

Overall, Melania Lijadi's work experience showcases their expertise in electrical characterization, product quality monitoring, reliability assurance, and process control.

Melania Lijadi pursued their education in the field of physics, with a particular interest in condensed matter and materials physics. From 1991 to 1997, they attended Nagoya University, where they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree, specializing in applied physics and quantum engineering. Building on their master's degree, Melania Lijadi enrolled in Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2001 to 2005. During this period, they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) studies, focusing on condensed matter and materials physics.
