Mathieu Maret has had a long career in embedded software engineering. Mathieu began their career in 2006 with a trainning period at the Centre d'Essais de Lancement de Missile (Missile Launch Test Center). In 2007, they were a trainee as a developer at Silogic. From 2008 to 2010, they held various roles including IT Engineer at Open Wide, Dev pour OpenWide at LaCie, and Embedded Linux Engineer at Protectic. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Embedded Linux & Android Engineer at Genymobile. From 2017 to 2021, they were an Embedded System Engineer at Pixium Vision S.A. and is currently a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at PROPHESEE.

Mathieu Maret's education history includes studying at Stanford Online High School from 2021 to 2022, where they obtained a Machine Learning degree in Informatique. Mathieu also attended University College Cork from 2007 to 2008, though no degree or field of study was specified. From 2005 to 2008, they attended ENSEEIHT and obtained an Engineering degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Prior to that, they studied at Chaptal from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a Math Sup/ Math Spé degree in MPSI/PSI.
