Bowen Hu has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a linguistic intern at Toho Intercultural College, where they focused on intensive language learning and cultural exploration. In 2014, they interned at East China Normal University in the State Key Laboratory of Precision Spectroscopy, gaining technical and scientific vocabulary in Chinese and practical experience in optical setups.
In 2015, Bowen held a research and development internship at Thales, specializing in nanophotonics and working on practical setups and theoretical simulations using Matlab. Bowen also worked as an engineer at Parrot, focusing on camera development.
From 2017 to 2019, Bowen worked as an embedded camera systems engineer at Safran Electronics & Defense, contributing to the development of onboard camera systems. Bowen then joined DXOMARK in 2019 as an image quality project manager and later became a scrum master, overseeing the implementation of Scrum framework.
In 2022, Bowen joined PROPHESEE as a senior image quality engineer, where they utilize their expertise in image quality to contribute to the development of advanced imaging technologies.

Bowen Hu was a visiting student at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China in 2015. During this time, they studied in the Department of Physics and Department of Precision Instruments.
Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015, Bowen Hu attended the Institut d'Optique Graduate School, where they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Laser and Optics Engineering.
In 2010, Bowen Hu attended Lycée Saint Louis, where they pursued the PC program.
Before that, in 2009 and 2010, Bowen Hu studied at Lycée Fenelon, where they pursued the PCSI program.
Bowen Hu completed their Baccalauréat in 2009 at Lycée Louis le Grand, with a specialization in Mathematics.
Additionally, Bowen Hu has obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in October 2020 and the Permis B (driver's license) in August 2010.
