Rudi Badenhorst has over 9 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Rudi started their career at Rapid Mobile in 2011, where they worked part-time as a student. In 2013, they joined Telkom as a Software Engineer and stayed with the company until 2015. Rudi then joined Gendac Software Engineering (Pty) Ltd as a Software Engineer from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Rudi is working at Property24 as a Senior Software Engineer, a role they have held since July 2018.

Rudi Badenhorst completed their education with a BEng in Computer Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Hoërskool Overkruin from 2003 to 2007, although the degree and field of study are unknown. Additionally, Rudi Badenhorst obtained the AI For Everyone certification from Coursera in November 2019 and the Exam 483: Programming in C# certification from Microsoft in July 2019.
