Prema Ramasamy is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering for Core Platform at Proofpoint since May 2015, focusing on platforms and shared services in threat detection and intelligence. Prior to this role, Prema co-founded 500 Miles, a data-driven recruiting platform, and held engineering leadership positions at Hightail, Walmart Labs, and Netscape/AOL/AOLTW. Prema began a career in software engineering at Tata Consultancy Services and has a solid educational background with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Thiagarajar College of Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Avinashilingam University. Additionally, Prema is pursuing Executive Education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from September 2022 to December 2023.
