Peter Kelly is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in software architecture and system integration spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal Architect at Proofpoint since May 2019 and Senior Software Architect at Proofpoint Essentials since February 2015, Peter has previously held positions such as System Architect at Intel Corporation and AePONA, where key contributions included the development of the API Monetization Platform and the Universal Services Platform. Notably, Peter's early career involved significant roles at AePONA, including Principal Software Engineer, where the design and architecture of the Telecom Web Services platform were achieved. Peter holds an MSc in Computer Science and Applications and a BSc in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Queen's University Belfast.
