Chris Danyo is a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in the cybersecurity sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Americas Sales at Proofpoint since November 2017, Chris oversees a team of over 750 professionals dedicated to combating cyber threats across the Americas. Previously, Chris held the position of Vice President of Security Sales at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, focusing on large enterprise sales in the Eastern US. Chris also served as Vice President of Americas Sales at Symantec, directing the sales of various cybersecurity services and solutions. Early career roles included leadership positions at Websense, Inc., Verso Technologies, and Telemate.Net Software, culminating in a solid foundation in sales management. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University.
