Scott Abbott is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the franchising and investment sectors. As the CEO and CoFounder of Five Star Franchising since December 2005, Abbott has expanded the company's influence by partnering with established businesses on franchising initiatives. Abbott also serves as Managing Partner at Canuck Ventures, an investment fund, and as Owner of Pocomos, a CRM solution for the pest control industry. Additional roles include Board Member at ProNexis and CoFounder and CEO of Five Star Painting, one of North America's largest painting franchise systems. Abbott's career includes founding Franchise Foundry and serving as an Angel Investor at Unidigm. Prior to these roles, Abbott was Director of Marketing at BDO Dunwoody LLP. Educated at the University of Manitoba and Brigham Young University, Abbott holds degrees in Marketing, Finance, and an MBA in Entrepreneurship.
