Anders Moen Garmo has a diverse work experience in the field of security engineering and software development. Anders Moen currently works as a Security Software Engineer at Promon since September 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Security Engineer at NAGRA from August 2017 to September 2019.

In 2017, Anders worked as a Senior Security Developer at Conax for a period of six months before joining Conax AS as a Security Developer from September 2015 to February 2017.

From 2010 to 2015, Anders worked at Fueltech Solutions AS as a Manager Software Systems. Their responsibilities included system design, software engineering, and architecture on high-temperature sensor platforms for the petroleum industry. Anders Moen also had main responsibilities for the ConSI MAPS Compressor control and safety system for large centrifugal compressors. Prior to this role, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Fueltech Solutions AS from June 2010 to January 2012.

Anders began their career as a Teaching Assistant at NTNU in January 2009, where they worked until May 2010. Anders Moen also gained experience as a Summer Intern at Scana Mar-El AS from June 2009 to August 2009.

Anders Moen Garmo obtained their MSc degree in Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2004 to 2010. In addition, they have acquired various certifications, including "Security for Hackers and Developers" from Pluralsight in January 2019, "Secure Coding in Java and Web Application Security" from SCADEMY Secure Coding Academy Ltd. in May 2017, "DVB and MPEG Essentials" from Perpetual Solutions in February 2017, "Side-Channel Analysis and Fault Injection" from Riscure in November 2015, and "Offshore Security Course" from Falck Nutec AS in January 2014.
