Mija Hubler has held various roles in the engineering field since 2004. Mija began their career as an Intern at Architectural Alliance Inc. in 2004, followed by an Engineering Intern role at F.H. Paschen in 2005. Mija then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University from 2006 to 2009, and at Northwestern University from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, they became a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). From 2015 to 2021, they held the role of Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder. Most recently, they became the Chief Engineering Advisor and Co-Founder at Prometheus Materials in 2021.
Mija Hubler received their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2006. Mija then went on to earn their Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University in 2009. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University in 2013.
