Joseph Zangri is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer at Prometheum since January 2022, Zangri previously held the position of Managing Director OTC Derivatives at the National Futures Association, where responsibilities included examining Swap Dealer members and ensuring compliance with CFTC and NFA rules. From 2000 to 2017, Zangri led compliance efforts as Global Head of Compliance at Bloomberg LP, managing a global team and overseeing compliance programs for various regulated products. Earlier, Zangri worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Senior Enforcement Attorney, focusing on investigating and prosecuting violations of securities laws. Joseph Zangri holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and has a background in law from the University at Albany.
