Lance Encell is currently the Head of Protein Design at Promega Corporation. Prior to their current role, Lance has extensive experience in protein engineering, antibody engineering, and enzyme research at companies like Tanox and Enchira Biotechnology. Lance also has a background in postdoctoral research in Pathology and Biochemistry at the University of Washington. Lance holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
