Andres Montalvo has extensive experience in various roles within the steel and construction industry. Andres started their career at TENARIS in 1989, where they served as a National and Export Sales Executive, responsible for increasing market share and developing new customers and uses for the company's products. Andres also gained knowledge and expertise in pipe production equipment and ensured adherence to industry norms.

In 1998, Montalvo joined GRUPO TORREY as a General Manager, overseeing all business operations and leading a team of over 350 employees. Andres achieved a 20% annual growth for the company and successfully negotiated contracts for a new manufacturing facility.

From 2004 to 2007, they had their own business, and later joined CEMEX in 2006 as a General Manager of a business unit. Andres achieved cost reductions of over 40% and set up a self-reliant business structure for the unit.

In 2009, Montalvo became a self-employed Business Consultant, focusing on developing operational functions and comprehensive business strategies for companies in the steel industry, as well as oil and gas products and chemicals. Andres designed strategies based on market research and ensured alignment with company strategies.

In 2013, Montalvo joined Axis Pipe and Tube / PROLAMSA as a Commercial Director and Business Development Manager. Andres developed plans to increase market share for product lines and new institutional businesses, supervised sales managers and support organizations, and evaluated and forecasted plans for new markets.

Montalvo's most recent role is Vice President of Commercial Sales at PROLAMSA, starting in 2023.

Andres Montalvo completed their undergraduate education from 1983 to 1988 at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they obtained a degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Andres pursued further education at the Universidad de Monterrey, completing a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from 2000 to 2004. During this time, from 2000 to 2003, they also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General.
