Tanya Kuhrt

Finance Manager at Prokarium

Tanya Kuhrt has worked in a variety of administrative and financial roles since 1997. Her most recent position is Finance Manager at Prokarium, a biopharmaceutical company, where they are also Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO. Prior to this, they were Co-organiser for NESS - The Essex PA Network, a voluntary role in which they organised networking events, maintained a website, wrote blog articles, and organised and posted guest blog articles. From 2013-2016, they were a Virtual Assistant for The Office HQ, providing administrative and back office support to small business owners and entrepreneurs. During this time, they also created an online course and trained and mentored other Virtual Assistants through How to Be a Virtual Assistant. From 2008-2011, they were PA and Office Manager for Kuhrt Leach LLP, where they were also made a junior partner. Tanya held a short-term contract as a Pensions Administrator at Sanofi Aventis in 2008, and prior to this, they worked as PA to the Pensions Manager at CLB Littlejohn Frazer from 2001-2008. Tanya also held positions as Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Payroll Manager at Potting Construction Limited from 1997-1999, Part-Time Bookkeeper at James Poole and Sons from 1999-2001, and Part-Time Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk at Codehammer from 1997-1999.

Tanya Kuhrt has an extensive education history. Tanya obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theirtory of Art Design & Film from Middlesex University between 1989 and 1992. Tanya then went on to earn a Master's degree in Computer Applications for the Theirtory of Art from Birkbeck, University of London between 1998 and 2000. In 2002, they earned an Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision in Pensions Management & Administration from the Pensions Management Institute, London. Tanya also attended Highgate Wood between 1979 and 1986. Most recently, they earned an Advanced Diploma in Accounting from AAT in 2020-2021. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, such as Microsoft Excel 2016 from the Pitman Training Group Ltd. in 2020, Employment Law Update from Acas in 2019, Managing a Fair Disciplinary Process from Acas in 2019, ACAS Human Resources for Beginners from Acas in 2018, and Emergency First Aid at Work from the British Red Cross in 2019.
