Sheldon Owen serves as the School Board Director at Tiny Tots Basic School since September 2021, overseeing staff conduct and ensuring efficient institutional operations. Additionally, since July 2016, Sheldon has held the role of Destination Expert at Projects Abroad, acting as the primary contact for volunteers in Jamaica and advising on necessary governmental documents. In conjunction with this, Sheldon also functions as Project Coordinator, planning and coordinating project-related functions within the organization. Previous experience includes serving as Engagement Officer at the Ministry of Education, Youth & Information, and various teaching roles at Villa Road Primary and Junior High School and Christiana High School. Sheldon’s educational background includes Project Management certification from The University of the West Indies, a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Teacher Education and Social Work from Northern Caribbean University, and a high school diploma from deCarteret College.
