Emily Heagle

Director Of Strategic Initiatives at Project Success

Emily Heagle has a diverse range of work experience. Emily began their career as a Public Relations Specialist at Media Relations Inc. in 1996, where they actively pitched to media contacts on behalf of various clients. Emily then worked as a Marketing Assistant and Event Coordinator at Intermedia Arts from 1997 to 2000. In 2000, Emily joined the Guthrie Theater as a Development Event Manager, planning and managing over 100 annual fundraising and promotional events. Emily achieved great success, including managing the most successful fundraiser in Guthrie history.

Emily then moved on to the University of Minnesota Medical Foundation, where they held various roles from 2002 to 2008. Emily was the Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events, managing marketing, program development, and logistics for the university's Medical School Alumni Reunion Weekend. Emily also partnered with community medical societies and alumni to oversee mentoring and preceptorship programs for students. Later, Emily became the Associate VP of Alumni and Donor Relations, overseeing donor fund reporting and compliance and managing major cultivation and stewardship events.

Since 2008, Emily has been working at Project Success, starting as the Director of Development and Communications. In this role, they worked on fundraising, stewardship, marketing, and communications activities for the organization. Emily then became the Senior Director of Advancement, leading the Development and Communications team and executing fundraising, marketing, and external relations strategies. Currently, Emily is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Project Success, where they manage project evaluation systems, strategic partnerships, and funding cultivation. Emily is also a member of the organization's leadership team.

Emily Heagle earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from St. Olaf College, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. Emily later pursued a Master's degree in Business/Arts Administration from the Wisconsin School of Business, completing their studies between 1998 and 2000.
