Josmerly Valerio is an experienced professional in workforce development and social work, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Workforce Development at Project Renewal since March 2021. In this role, Josmerly oversees various programs, including the Centralized Intake/Outreach Program, and provides management support for job readiness and retention initiatives. Previous positions include positions as a MSW intern and Training and Retention Specialist, where Josmerly designed workshops and conducted training for clients and staff. Additionally, Josmerly founded "Mommies That Wine," a virtual support series for mothers, and works as a consultant and coach for youth career readiness programming. Academic qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and Fordham University, along with a Bachelor of Science from CUNY York College.
