David Alvarez, LPC, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in human resources and staff development, currently serving at Project Live since February 2004, where responsibilities include job recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, labor law compliance, and payroll administration. Additionally, David is a certified trainer in non-violent crisis intervention as well as CPR/First Aid. Prior to this role, David worked in clinical services at Project Live, Inc. from July 1997 to February 2004, focusing on support for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Montclair State University, obtained in 1997 and 2003, respectively.
