Anton Waitz is a seasoned professional in the fields of business and law, currently serving as a General Partner at Project A Ventures since October 2016. Previously, Anton held the role of Managing Director at Axel Springer Digital Ventures Inc. from 2012 to September 2016, in addition to involvement in the Office of the Chairman & CEO. A background in law includes practice at Noerr LLP and various legal roles within the German Embassy in Accra, Ghana, and the Civil Court & Public Prosecution in Hamburg. Anton co-founded Kinderspiel e.V., a non-profit association dedicated to social projects for youth, between 2004 and 2010. Educational qualifications include an MBA from IESE Business School, a Second State Exam in Law from the City of Hamburg, a Ph.D. in IP Law from the University of Freiburg, and a First State Exam in Law from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
