Ric Hampson is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in the automotive and agri-tech industries. Currently serving as Head of Chassis at Project 3 Mobility, Ric oversees requirements management and systems engineering for the development of L4 autonomous robotaxi technology. Prior roles include Technical Programme Manager at RootWave, where Ric managed the development of innovative weed control products, and various technical management positions at Jaguar Land Rover, focusing on brakes and dynamics research, alternative motion actuators, and chassis engineering. Ric holds a Master of Science in Advanced Energy and Environmental Studies from the Centre for Alternative Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University.
