Nicholas Weingartner, PhD, currently serves as Senior Data Science Manager at Progressive Leasing since September 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager of Data Science and Data Science Manager at American Credit Acceptance, where notable accomplishments involved engaging with executives, leading teams to implement statistical models that resulted in significant financial impact, and innovating data-driven strategies. Nicholas also contributed as an Adjunct Professor in the Master of Analytics Program at the University of South Carolina Upstate, and held positions as Modeling Analyst II at GEICO and Graduate Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis, where contributions included developing theoretical frameworks and models in physics. Nicholas holds a PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics, an MA in Physics, and a BS in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis and Saint Louis University, respectively.
