Tom Butler is an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in cloud strategy and enterprise technology services. Currently serving as IT Director, Cloud at Progressive Insurance since October 2013, Tom leads a centralized enterprise cloud team of over 150 professionals and is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise cloud strategy. Previously, Tom held positions such as IT Director, Enterprise Technology Services, where a team of over 200 was managed across multiple locations, and Director, IT and Business Management Chromite at Cliffs Natural Resources, following a promotion from IT Program Manager. Tom's earlier career includes serving as VP, Director of Technology Architecture for Wealth Management at PNC Bank, where significant achievements included the implementation of a major online banking system serving over 500,000 customers. Tom holds a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University.
