Bill Griffin has extensive experience in software development and IT management, currently serving as Programmer Lead at Progressive Insurance since April 2015. Previously, Bill held the position of Software Development/IT Director at USA Cycling from January 2001 to March 2015, where responsibilities included managing a team of six internal staff and external contractors, addressing system issues, and improving processes. Bill’s career began at the US Olympic Committee (1992 - 2001) as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, designing critical applications utilizing various programming languages. Prior experience includes serving as Supply Officer in the US Navy NMCB-5 (1984 - 1988) and as an MIS Consultant at Ernst & Whinney (1982 - 1984). Bill holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology (2014 - 2016), a Master's of Science in Exercise Science from Georgia State University (1991 - 1992), and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (1978 - 1982).
