Georgi Dimitrov has worked at two companies throughout their career. Georgi started as a Software Developer at ICB in July 2007 and left in February 2012. From March 2012 to August 2013, they worked as a Software Developer at Progress. Georgi then progressed to the role of Software Development Manager at Progress from September 2013 to November 2016. From December 2016 to December 2017, they served as a Software Architect at Progress. Georgi then became a Software Engineering Manager from January 2018 to December 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Software Architect at Progress, a role they have been in since January 2019. Most recently, in December 2021, they were promoted to the role of Software Architecture Lead.

Georgi Dimitrov obtained a Master's degree in Computer Systems and Technologies from the Technical University of Sofia, which they attended from 2008 to 2010. Prior to this, they pursued studies in Core.NET at the National Academy for Software Development from 2006 to 2007. Their undergraduate education was completed at the Technical University of Sofia, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems and Technologies from 2004 to 2008.
