Mak Zilani is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in product management and team leadership. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, since July 2014, Zilani oversees the international product segment. Previously, as General Manager at EMD Locomotive Technologies Private Limited from June 2010 to June 2014, Zilani established and managed an offshore engineering team in India, supporting global projects. Earlier experience includes a role as Senior Manager at CNH Industrial (India) Private Limited from April 1996 to May 2010, where Zilani led multiple commercial product launches and product reliability testing initiatives. Zilani holds an MBA from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
