Javier Peraza serves as the President of Progracademy since July 2014, focusing on developing XXI Century skills in K-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Additionally, Peraza has been an Independent Consultant at Cemergy since July 2011, advising industrial companies on growth strategy and operational improvements with an emphasis on alternative fuels. From March 2016 to June 2023, Peraza worked as an Adjunct Professor at IE Business School, teaching market intelligence and strategy. Prior professional roles include Senior Manager/Principal at Bain & Company Ibérica, PMO Director and later Director of Strategic Planning at CEMEX EMEAA&A, Consultant at McKinsey & Company, and Economic Analyst at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. Peraza holds multiple degrees in economics from prestigious institutions including Harvard Kennedy School, Yale University, and UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
