Fereshte Damavandi, Ph.D., E.I.T., is a skilled Process Engineer currently at Progesys Inc since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alberta from September 2017 to May 2023, where Fereshte focused on the design and synthesis of polymers and magnetic nanoparticles for oil spill remediation, as well as extensive analysis and characterization of materials. Additional roles at the University of Alberta involved teaching assistance in Materials Science and Chemical Engineering Laboratory courses, complemented by research experience in nanomaterials at Ingenuity Lab and Amirkabir University of Technology. Fereshte holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, a Master of Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
