Elyas Shaswary, Ph.D., is a Data Scientist at Profound Medical Inc. since June 2022, previously serving as a Research AI Developer at Sunnybrook from November 2021 to June 2022. Prior to these roles, Elyas held various positions at Ryerson University from September 2009 to November 2021, including Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant. Elyas earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Physics from Ryerson University in 2019, a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Physics in 2013, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Physics in 2010.
