Thorbjörn Ulfhjelm has extensive experience as an Electronic Engineer, working in various roles throughout their career. From 1995 to 1997, they worked at Landis&Gyr AB as an Analog Designer, focusing on motor control and power supply in valves and actuators. Thorbjörn then moved on to BOAR Consulting from 1997 to 2000, where they continued their work as a contractor for analog/digital electronics research and development. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at PETAND Consulting in a similar capacity, conducting research and development alongside John Andreasen. Between 2004 and 2007, they served as an Electronic Engineer at Anaview AB, specializing in designing power supplies for industrial and consumer use and working on high-end audio Class D amplifier designs. Since 2008, Thorbjörn has been with EK Power Solutions AB (former Elektronikkonsult AB), where they are currently an Electronic Engineer. In this role, they have been involved in developing a 24V battery system for climate control, as well as motor control for a brushless 100W motor and a 4-channel class D amplifier.

Thorbjörn Ulfhjelm began their education in 1982 at Korsängen in Enköping, where they pursued a general course of study. From 1987 to 1988, they attended Westerlundska Gymnasiet, focusing on a scientific program. Following that, from 1988 to 1990, they enrolled at Nolaskolans Gymnasium, where the specific degree obtained is unknown. Finally, from 1992 to 1995, Thorbjörn Ulfhjelm studied at Umeå University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics with a specialization in Space Engineering.
