Douglas Kordel serves as President & Chief Legal Officer at Proforma since July 2003, overseeing leadership and management teams while developing and implementing growth strategies. Previously, Kordel held roles as Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel and General Counsel at Proforma, where responsibilities included driving operational management, addressing franchise issues, and safeguarding legal rights. Kordel was recognized with the Top General Counsel Award for Private Companies by Crain’s Cleveland in 2013. Prior experience includes Associate Attorney at Purcell & Scott, LPA, focusing on commercial finance and document drafting, and Corporate Counsel at Waterford International, specializing in asset-backed securities. Douglas Kordel earned a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and a BBA from The University of Toledo.
