Rahul Upadhyaya has been working in the marketing and advertising industry since 2008. Rahul began their career as a Business Executive at Mindshare Fulcrum, where they devised media campaigns for HUL's Oral and Deo categories. In 2009, they moved to Techshastra India Pvt. Ltd. as a Business Manager. In 2010, Rahul joined MediaCom as a Senior Business Manager and was promoted to Group Head and Digital Director. During their time at MediaCom, they managed Skin Care, Female Care, Baby products, Male Grooming categories of P&G and increased the digital share of wallet. In 2014, they moved to Team P&G as Digital Director. In 2018, Rahul joined Facebook as an Agency Partner and in 2020, they moved to Dentsu Aegis Network as Chief Data Officer. Currently, they are working as the Head of Customer Success & Product Marketing at ProfitWheel.
Rahul Upadhyaya's education history includes an MBA in Media & Communications from Symbiosis International University, obtained between 2006 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Business/Management from St. Xavier's College between 2003 and 2005. Rahul also attended M.P Birla F.H.S.School from 1988 to 2003. In addition, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera, LinkedIn, and Facebook, including Building a Data Science Team, Machine Learning for Marketing: Essential Training, Marketing on LinkedIn: The Sophisticated Marketer's Guide, Negotiation Skills, Strategic Partnerships, Facebook Certified Marketing Science Professional, Course in Data Science, and Digital Marketing Analytics in Practice.
