Mal Lewis has extensive experience in finance and operations management. They have held various roles at different organizations, including Professionals Australia as the Director of Finance, The Song Room as the Finance & Operations Manager, and Philanthropy Australia as the Chief Operating Officer and Finance and Operations Manager. Mal has also acted as the Finance & Operations Manager (Acting) at Health Issues Centre and served as the Director of Finance and Operations at the Australian Conservation Foundation. Additionally, they have worked as the Finance Manager at Diabetes Australia - VIC, the Director of Finance & Resources at JDRF UK, the Finance Manager at acevo, and the Management Accountant at CARE International UK. Mal's experience also includes working as the Financial Controller at Cardno Emerging Markets, where they were responsible for project reporting, managing a finance team, payroll, and financial reporting on projects in other countries.
Mal Lewis attended Eastmont Primary School from 1974 to 1980, where they focused on basic education in the 3 R's. Mal then graduated from Vermont High School in 1986 with a High School Certificate (HSC). In 1987, they enrolled at Monash University and obtained a Bachelor of Business (Acc) degree in Accounting in 1989. From 2007 to 2011, Mal pursued a CPA Qualification at CPA Australia.
