Charles Jones has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Charles began their career in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician, where they gained expertise in Submarine Communications, Communication Security, and Electronic Key Management systems. In their various roles as a supervisor, they managed and supervised teams of technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of communications systems and the accountability of classified materials. Additionally, Charles has also worked as an Electronics Technician for Fathom 4, LLC, specializing in Tactical Vehicle C4ISR Integration and troubleshooting of various systems. Most recently, they served as a Training Analyst/Subject Matter Expert for Professional Software Engineering, Inc. (PROSOFT), where they developed curriculum, training aids, and technical input to support the Multiple Reconfigurable Training System. Overall, Charles has a strong background in electronics, communications, and leadership, with a meticulous attention to detail.

Charles Jones completed their education at Charleston Southern University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Project Management. Prior to that, they attended Excelsior University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Charles'shigh school education was obtained at Marlboro County High School, where they earned a High School Diploma. In addition to their academic qualifications, Charles Jones also obtained a certification in "Translating Your Military Skills to Civilian Workplace" from LinkedIn in March 2017.
