Alexis Mondragon is a seasoned fashion professional with extensive experience in technical design and production management, currently self-employed at Studio A Knits since February 2018. Alexis serves as a Freelance Technical Designer for both Proenza Schouler and Et Ochs, roles held since June 2022 and May 2021, respectively. Additionally, consultancy work for Cotton Incorporated began in June 2018. Previous engagements include positions as a Freelance Technical Designer at Halston until May 2023, Technical Design Manager at Egg by Susan Lazar until June 2022, and Freelance Production Technical Designer for Cushnie. Alexis also has experience with NYC Alliance and Stoll America Knitting Machinery, Inc., where oversight of production product development and technical design was key. A BFA in Fashion Design was earned from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 2006 to 2010.
