Michael Wooten serves as Vice Chair of the State Board of Directors for Virginia's Community College System and is a member of the Board of Directors for PROCUREMENT ROUND TABLE. Previously, Wooten held various leadership roles including Vice President for Strategic Direction at National Industries for the Blind and Administrator for Federal Procurement Policy at the Office of Management and Budget. Wooten's extensive experience in federal education includes positions at the U.S. Department of Education as Senior Advisor for Federal Student Aid and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Community Colleges. Additional roles include Deputy Chief Procurement Officer for the Government of the District of Columbia and Chairman of the Board for Northern Virginia Community College.
