Julian Honeyborne has a comprehensive work experience history. Julian started their career in 2004 as a Field Engineer at Bytes Technology Group, where they provided technical support for various clients and handled maintenance tasks. After that, they joined Aurecon in 2006 as a Support Engineer, where they supported around 900 users and developed machine standards. In 2011, Julian moved to Exxaro Coal Central ex Total Coal South Africa, where they held the role of ICT Engineer and later Engineer (ICT). Julian then worked at The Window as a Support Engineer before joining Proconics as the IT and Network Operations Lead in 2017.

Julian Honeyborne has a diverse education history. In 1991, they graduated from Witbank High School with a degree in Technical Studies. Julian then pursued a PC Engineering degree at Damelin from 1997 to 1998. Julian furthered their knowledge in Information Technology by obtaining an MCSE from Torque IT in 2003. Julian also acquired a DCSE degree from Dell between 2000 and 2010. In 2013, they enrolled in Peoplecert and completed the ITIL Foundation, focusing on Management Information Systems. Additionally, Julian obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from Peoplecert in 2013 and the DCSE certification from Dell in 2002.
