Christopher Riemer

Christopher Riemer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Christopher started their career as a Project Engineer at the Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2004. Christopher later worked as an Area Construction Manager in the Afghanistan District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2005, where they supervised construction projects and coordinated with security and tenant units. In the same year, they also worked as an Installation Project Manager at the Norfolk District, where they led design and construction management teams.

Moving forward, Riemer joined I Corps, U.S. Army in 2008 as a Senior Operational Planner, where they directed planning teams for the development of operational plans. Christopher then served in the 555 Engineer Brigade, U.S. Army from 2009 to 2011, taking on the roles of Senior Construction and Design Manager, and later, Senior Operations Manager. In these positions, they represented customers, managed teams, and established resourcing priorities.

After that, Riemer worked at the Pittsburgh District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 2011 to 2014 as Deputy Commander and Deputy District Engineer. Here, they directed a large organization responsible for water resources management programs and achieved overhead rate reductions through effective management practices.

Currently, Riemer holds the position of Vice President of Operations at Process Combustion Corporation starting from April 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Operations Manager at the same company from October 2014 to March 2021. Overall, Riemer's work experience showcases their expertise in project management, team leadership, and strategic planning in both military and civilian settings.

Christopher Riemer has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Christopher then pursued a Master's Degree in Engineering Management at the Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1998 to 1999. In 2003 to 2004, they attended the University of Virginia and received a Masters of Engineering in Civil/Environmental Engineering. Lastly, from 2007 to 2008, they completed a Master's Degree in Theater Operations at the US Army School of Advanced Military Studies.
