Joe Farnham is an Embedded Software Engineer currently contributing to the firmware group at PROCEPT BioRobotics since July 2023. Previously, Farnham served as a Software Engineer at Google from September 2022 to March 2023, following a position as an Embedded Software Engineer in New Product Development at Intuitive from June 2019 to September 2022. Early career experiences include internships at Intuitive Surgical, where contributions involved developing software drivers and applications for the da Vinci Surgical System. Farnham has also engaged in research at Georgia Tech's Intelligent Digital Communications team and completed internships at Alio and VillageTech Solutions, focusing on software development and analysis in various applications. Educationally, Farnham is pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a high school diploma from Menlo School.
