Emer Slowey is a skilled Bioprocess Engineer at BioLamina since August 2024, with a strong background in research and development within the field of biomedicine. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at Procella Therapeutics AB, focusing on process and analytical development for stem cell therapy aimed at cardiac tissue regeneration. Emer also completed a Master's thesis at Karolinska Institutet investigating early embryo expressed factors in human trophoblast differentiation, alongside internships addressing various topics such as vascular calcification, apoptosis in prostate cancer, and breast cancer biomarkers. Emer holds a Master's degree in Biomedicine from Karolinska Institutet and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from Queen's University Belfast.
