Aditya Harisankar, Ph.D., currently serves as a Bioprocessing Research Associate at Procella Therapeutics AB since May 2020. Prior to this role, Aditya completed a PhD at Karolinska Institutet from 2013 to 2018, focusing on the identification of novel genes relevant to Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and Acute myeloid leukemia (AML). This research included extensive use of various cellular and molecular techniques. Aditya also contributed as a Research Intern, establishing a genome-wide functional shRNA screening pipeline. Earlier academic experiences include a Master's degree in Applied Biotechnology from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Sathyabama University. Initial research experience was garnered at Central Leather Research Institute, where eco-friendly disposal methods for chrome-leather shaving were explored.
