Julie Kus has extensive experience in the healthcare risk management and claims industry, currently serving as Claims Director at ProAssurance since 2006, following the role of Senior Claims Specialist. Prior to this, Julie worked as a Healthcare Risk Management Consultant at MCHC from 2003 to 2006. Between 2001 and 2003, Julie held the position of Risk Manager at Rush Oak Park Hospital, and from 1983 to 2003, served as Risk Manager, as well as Emergency Department Staff Nurse and Staff Registered Nurse at Rush University Medical Center. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago, earned between 1980 and 1983.
