Sofía Gómez Álvarez is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Coordinadora de comunicaciones at Grupo Proa since January 2019. Previously, Sofía worked as the Encargada Comunicaciones Internas at Hospital Padre Hurtado from September 2014 to August 2018, where responsibilities included designing and managing content for the website and intranet, as well as handling internal communications for Human Resources and management. Additionally, Sofía held the position of Jefe de Marketing at Webclass for a brief period in early 2018. Educational qualifications include a Licenciatura in Comunicación Social from Universidad Central and various certifications, such as a degree in Wordpress from Universidad de Chile, a Diplomado in Gestión Estratégica de las Comunicaciones from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a Magíster en Comunicación Estratégica y Digital, which is being pursued at Universidad Finis Terrae until December 2025.
