Michael Corcoran currently serves as Lead Senior Security Controls Assessor at Tau Six, LLC since February 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held several positions in the cybersecurity field, including Operations Research Analyst and Senior Security Controls Assessor at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., and Senior Cyber Security Specialist at System High Corporation. Michael's experience also encompasses work as a Senior Principal Cyber Information Assurance Analyst at Northrop Grumman, where responsibilities included interfacing with corporate and government customers for system accreditation and certification. Earlier roles include Information Systems Security Officer at The Boeing Company, Network Engineer positions at First Consulting Group and Veridian, and a Research Scientist role at Veridian. Michael obtained a Master's of Science in Information Security - Cyber from Lewis University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Humanities from Penn State University.
