Nehat Islami currently serves as the Executive Director at UPCO Institute and a Lecturer at Kolegji Riinvest (Riinvest College), while also being a Co-Owner of Friends Avenue since July 2016. With extensive experience in the Privatization Agency of Kosovo, including roles as a Senior Officer in the Sales Department and a Monitoring Officer, Nehat has also held positions as an Assistant Lecturer in Banking Management Techniques at University College Victory and a Freelance Business Trainer at MDA. Previous positions include a Senior Officer for the Internal Market at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Business Loan Officer roles at both Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo and KEP Trust. Nehat's academic background includes an MSc in International Business and Economic Policy from the University of Birmingham, alongside ongoing studies for a PhD in Business Administration and Management at the University of Graz and a Bachelor in Management and Informatics from the University of Prishtina.
