Päivi Indola is a seasoned professional in data protection and legal counsel with extensive experience in the publishing and cybersecurity sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Data Protection Specialist at Privaon Oy since March 2023, Päivi also holds the position of Legal Counsel for Data Protection and Marketing at Asiakkuusmarkkinointiliitto ASML since December 2020. Previous roles include Advisory Senior Manager and Head of the Data Protection Team at KPMG Cyber Security (Finland) from March 2018 to December 2020, and Data Protection Officer as well as Editor-in-Chief at Edita Publishing Ltd. from 2010 to 2018. Earlier in the career, Päivi served as Development Manager for Web Services at Mandatum Life Insurance, focusing on developing web-based business applications, and held various editorial positions at Edita Publishing and Kauppakaari-yhtymä Oy. Päivi Indola earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Helsinki, completing studies from 1984 to 1991.
