Mason Bryan is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Editor at the Prison Journalism Project since May 2022, Mason oversees PJP Publishing, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy in stories that train incarcerated journalists. Previously, Mason held positions at Crosscut, including Associate Opinion Editor, where responsibilities included setting the direction of the opinion section and editing contributions from regular columnists. Mason's career also includes roles as Digital Editor, Editorial Assistant, and Contributing Writer at Crosscut. Early experiences include reporting on housing and homelessness at Real Change Homeless Empowerment Project and serving as Managing Editor for The Spectator at Seattle University. Mason holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Seattle University and furthered educational pursuits at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
