Zak Erving has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the design and education sectors. Zak is currently the Founder/CEO of Prismatext, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Lead Product Designer at Turntide Technologies from March 2021 to March 2022. Zak also worked as a Lead Product Designer at Riptide IO from October 2014 to March 2021.

Before their roles at Turntide Technologies and Riptide IO, Zak was a Product Designer at AspireIQ from October 2019 to May 2020. Zak also worked as a Frontend Designer/Developer at JUIT GmbH from August 2019 to November 2019, where they contributed to the design and development of an application for a larger conglomerate.

In addition to their design experience, Zak has a teaching background. Zak served as an Adjunct Professor at Westmont College from August 2016 to May 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Northwest Strategies, Inc from June 2006 to August 2007.
